Long-time outdoor educator Mark Hainds is the expert on the region's longleaf pine ecosystem. Mark has taught forestry at the college-level and was the educator for the Longleaf Alliance based in Andalusia. From Mark, campers will learn about this unique habitat and the rare and wonderful creatures who live in it. Campers will go fishing survival-style with sticks and find-your-own bait! They will look for plants, salamanders, bugs, and worms -- and have and lots of fun on the way.
