About this Event
The Union Chapel Coal Mine is considered to be one of the top three fossil sites in the world. It took a literal Act of Congress to preserve this site and it has been visited by scientists from around the world ever since. Leading this dig will be paleontologist Dr. Prescott Adkinson from the Alabama Paleontological Society.
