Fresh Air Family
A forward-thinking organization, Fresh Air Family is upgrading its entire curriculum to a design-thinking platform that matches the Alabama science standards. FAF is an outdoor-based education non-profit dedicated to improving the science literacy and scientific thinking of children and youth. Founded in 2006, Fresh Air Family has served thousands, with 3,100 students participating in our 2016-2017 Field Trips and 1,164 in our 2016 summer camp program. Fresh Air Family Field Trips
Based at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve, we offer a variety of curriculum-based field trips to help you meet STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) goals and state science requirements. We offer field trips for schools, home school groups, Boy and Girl Scouts, churches and more. We can host at Ruffner or at one of our other partner parks. For more information, click here.
